FDA to regulate cigars.

The FDA is going after cigars. Why not close down all the fast food restaurants like McDonalds and Burger King that entice children to eat their low quality dog food with junky toys made in China and poisoning them. The agenda of the anti-smoking bandits is for the next generation to be tobacco free by continuing to chip away at our rights as adults.

I guess they also want to decimate our economy and job market even more by eradicating around 1 million jobs, not counting the shops and accessory companies that will close and put more people out of work. What is their plan to replace them?

FDA BREAKING NEWS: Regulation has arrived…today, the FDA has posted their deeming rules regarding cigars; and it’s not without a surprise: they're considering TWO options for cigar regulation:

Option 1 would be for the FDA to regulate ALL cigars – premium, machine made, etc – as THE SAME kind of product. We don’t want that to happen.

Option 2 would make a NEW DEFINITION for “covered cigars,” under which the FDA would consider premium cigars.

  1. Man, I disagree with your approach to explaining this one when you wrote, "Why not close down all the fast food restaurants like McDonalds and Burger King that entice children to eat their low quality dog food with junky toys made in China and poisoning them."... America should allow freedom for cigars and food choices as well. With an approach such as that, you're desiring government control even further.

    1. "This proposed rule is the latest step in our efforts to make the next generation tobacco-free," said HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius. This is a movement about health according to them. You can't advertise tobacco products in the media with the exception of tobacco related rags. These fast food poison venders blast us with ads in every type of media daily to eat the crap. My comment is written that way because if it's about the health risk, then why isn't fast food a bigger fish to fry, when you consider heart disease is the biggest killer among both men and women?

I personally believe in freedom of choice through education. Then let the free market decided. My three children already call McDonalds, Burger King and Taco Bell garbage and my nine year old reads the ingredient information on most of the products he eats.

    2. I'm with you Robert. This is tyranny.

  2. I'm with you. I don't want anyone, least of all someone as faceless as the government, touching me or my rights, or my property. Why can't they just step off? Is it the government's job to control how I live my life? No. Tobacco regulation is the most absurd, inane and ludicrous movement since prohibition. They have better things to do.

As a side note, I wonder if you'd be interested in guest writing on my blog?
